South Africa - Our Region
South Africa is a country rich with cultural heritage and a
good history. Its favourable climate and friendly people make
it a desired tourist destination of choice and sees millions
of tourist flock to our golden beaches, awesome vegetation (such
as the famous Garden Route) and amazing scenery all year round.
The country boasts the the birth place of former president
Nelson Mandela and consists of nine provinces or regions,
each with its own natural beauty.

Our Climate
South Africa has an excellent climate all year round. Our
summer runs from December to February and winter from June
to August. Our rainy season usually occurs in the winter months
with the occasion downpour during Spring (September).
Highest temperatures range from the mid 20's to upper 30's
(degree centigrade) whist in winter our average temperatures
are very seldom beneath 10 degrees (with icy conditions inland).
The coldest areas are in the central regions whilst the warmest
regions exist in the north. Humidity factors are highest in
KwaZulu Natal. All-in-all South Africa is rated to be in the
top five most favourable climate countries in the world.
